In Talend Help Center, the content related to features that are not available in all licenses is marked with the Available in... flag or ⓘ icon. Hover the flag or icon to display the list of licenses for which the marked content applies.

You can check which license you are using in several places:
  • In the license email you received from Talend.
  • In Talend Studio, from the menu bar, select Help > About License or Help > About Talend Studio.

For more information about what features are available with each license, see Feature availability.

To purchase a different license from the one you currently have, contact Talend Support.

AWS

This label indicates that the feature is only available if your Talend Cloud deployment is powered by Amazon Web Services.

You can check that by looking at the URL of your Talend Cloud portal.

Azure

This label indicates that the feature is only available if your Talend Cloud deployment is powered by Microsoft Azure.

You can check that by looking at the URL of your Talend Cloud portal.

Azure-only features are available at https://us-west.cloud.talend.com.

Beta

This label indicates a feature or product which Talend makes available for its users for testing, but which comes with limited support and is not subject to Talend Support SLAs. These features should not be used in production-critical environments.

Beta releases can be public or private. Talend regularly invites existing customers to take part in Early Adopter Programs in order to explore and test selected new features, such as private beta features, in a specific environment. If you want to take part in one of the Early Adopter Programs and share early feedback on the latest features, contact Talend Support.

If you are a Talend Cloud user, you can access the list of public beta features available for the following Cloud applications, provided they are part of your license:

  • Talend Cloud Data Inventory
  • Talend Cloud Data Preparation
  • Talend Cloud Pipeline Designer

You can activate and deactivate the features you want to try from the Labs tab in the user menu drop-down in the header. When you click Apply, the configuration updates your applications but there is no effect on the applications of other users on the account.

Decommissioned

This label indicates that a version is no longer supported and that the topic may be out of date. Rerun a search to find the latest version.

Deprecated

This label corresponds to products or features that may be removed or retired in a future update.

Talend does not recommend using deprecated products or features in a production environment, but these features are still supported and you can request assistance if you encounter issues or bugs. However, no evolutions in the product or feature will be considered.

A note is generally added to describe an alternate solution, together with a link to the appropriate documentation.

Hybrid

This label indicates that the feature is only available if you are using the product in hybrid mode.

For more information, see the Talend Cloud Hybrid Installation Guide for:

Talend API Tester - Free Edition
